Fees & reimbursement

For non-contracted health insurers we use the rates set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). Depending on your insurer and your policy you are reimbursed between 58% and 76%; the remaining amount is your own contribution. Ask your insurer what percentage of the NZa rate they reimburse.

After each session you receive an invoice from us with the agreed session rate. You pay it directly to us within fourteen days, after which you claim it back from your health insurer yourself. You are responsible for paying and submitting on time.

Below are the NZa rates we charge for non-contracted care, valid from 1 January to 31 December 2026. Which rate applies depends on your therapist: for the setting “outpatient – quality statute section II”, the NZa sets separate rates for healthcare psychologists (GZ-psycholoog) and for other professions — in our practice that second category applies to the basic psychologists.
